I've been coming to VN nails and doing my gel mani / pedi with Tami for over 5 years now. When i started coming i use to go with who ever was first available and never had an issue with any of the other girls, they all work pretty good. I've also done my acrylics here. Tami takes her time and perfects my nails every time, she's also super sweet! They open really early on Saturday's and i usually try to get there around 8 so i don't have to wait, sometimes it gets slammed. Comfortable massage chairs, always super clean. Read Less

Flew in straight from Chicago to Miami on 1/9 and had time to kill since we couldn't check into our air b n b until 3pm. Googled a quick nail place and found this one ! They did a great job! I was reluctant at first due to some negative reviews but I had to pick a place quick. So I went around 11:30-12pm and it was not busy at all and they did an excellent job! $50 for no chip manicure and regular pedicure! (Same price as Chicago would charge). GO HERE :)(P.s: if you like the color on my nails it's :OPI- getting nadi on my honeymoon) Read Less

Do yourself a favor and find a better nail salon. DO NOT go here. I'm only giving them one star because my nails (gel powder) were actually done well. The male nail techs who only handle gel powder & acrylic nails from what I see are rude and make offensive comments; a few of those directed towards me. This particularly NASTY man said a joke about me being UGLY. Yes...me a paying customer. I even witnessed a different nail tech curse out his own customer. Their low levels of good customer service & lack of consideration for people is atrocious. It's quite sad because they all seem experienced.This is a place for convenience and not experience. It's not a relaxing spot since it's noisy & ridiculously busy. In & out literally which could be a positive if you're in a hurry. My pedicure was done well but it was no more than 20 minutes. I barely had time to enjoy the massage chair before it was over. It's crammed with tons of pedicure chairs & manicure tables,loud music and TVs that were never on.I would call to complain but they don't seem like the type of business that cares what a customer thinks or will do anything to rectify a poor experience. I love the atmosphere almost everyone here speaks English and Spanish, 90% of the manicurist are Cuban ladies so... you really can have fun listen what they talk between them Nice and gentle staff I've been here at least 3 times in my life they offer a dedicated pedi & mani that includes "working" spa chairs while they do your pedi. Water, coffee are complementary.Plenty variety of colors and brands of nail polish Parking is big plus in this location because the shopping center where it's located have plenty parking spots.They don't do appointments you have to go a sign in their list at the entrance. The wait is never more than 30min so don't worry about it.The fastest ladies can make your perfect done gel mani and regular pedicure in just 55 minutes! Read Less

I've been to a variety of nail salons and this one is one of my to go places. Their prices are reasonable, there barely is a wait time, and they have a friendly staff. The also have good hygiene procedures which are hard to find in places with lower prices but this place becomes the exception. They provide cleanliness. I come here often when I am in a hurry of a mani or pedi or just because of convenience and at the same time get a good service. Read Less

This place is a hidden gem and I love them for my acrylics. Since moving to Miami I have found it super hard to find a place that does them like the nail salons in NYC and this place is fantastic. They also are really reasonably priced which is great ($24 for a new set, $12 for a fill in). I deducted one star because they don't have the best or freshest selection of polishes, but that isn't the end of the world (I like to bring my own anyways). Read Less

Hit or miss depending on your manicurist. Owners are very nice and prices are reasonable. It's not a luxe setting but still if you get a good manicurist it's worth it. I came to this establishment on Saturday, May 27. I asked for a gel mani and pedi. They told me that I had to get regular nail polish because my nails were "too chipped" and assured me that it would not come off a day later. So Sunday, May 28, one hand starts to chip. Monday, Memorial Day, my nails look ridiculous. I come back today to have them fix it with the original gel I asked for and the manager told me I would have to pay an extra $15 even though I was just there and THEY are the one that told me to get the regular nail polish WHEN I asked for the gel. Avoid this place. Poor management, low class service, not enough selections in products, no design skills and not enough knowledge in nail care. Read Less

I came to this establishment on Saturday, May 27. I asked for a gel mani and pedi. They told me that I had to get regular nail polish because my nails were "too chipped" and assured me that it would not come off a day later. So Sunday, May 28, one hand starts to chip. VN nails is a little neighborhood nail spot, and it's a great bargain. This is not a luxurious, overpriced spa experience. There are no appointments, you come in and write your name on the clipboard - first come, first serve. There are so many nail techs working that the wait is never too long. But the experience depends entirely on which nail technician you get.Experience #1: my tech seemed to be new. She kept asking other people to help her fix mistakes, didn't know where to find cotton balls or remover, and had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. She was very sloppy and haphazard with all of it... she kept looking away at her friends and talking to people WHILE trimming, filling, buffing, and cutting my cuticles. So of course, my nails were uneven and the cuticles were butchered. I don't mean they were slightly red, I mean she actually drew blood on several fingers. On my thumb it was a huge, painful gash. And she never apologized for hurting me, just kept chomping her gum and tried to stop the bleeding like I wouldn't notice. And because the cuticles were terrible (even the ones that weren't bleeding were rough and jagged...they looked like ruffles potato chips!) the manicure and pedicure were just awful. My nails and toes look better when I do them myself at home. Experience #2: I explained to the manager what happened and he made sure I got an better tech. Her name was Barbara and she was awesome. Extremely skilled, polite, focused, gentle, and great attention to detail. I have no complaints, my nails and toes looked perfect. Read Less

Very friendly employees. I have always visited Yudy- she remembers small details and always follows up. She's very attentive and truly enjoys her job. I will never come back here again. I went for a gel mani pedi and during my manicure she was cutting my cuticles and she was barbaric to say the least she took out a CHUNK of my finger! I started to bleed but not like a dot of blood no, a was bleeding so much it was dripping. She did not even apologize she said "oh that wasn't even a big deal, not even to have been bleeding like that." I told her it hurt a lot when she did it. No apology. This morning I woke up with my fingers looking red swollen and infected. Absolutely unacceptable! Read Less

Located off coral way in the shopping center with CVS, VN nails is a decent place to have your nails done. It's not the best but its not the worst either. And depending on who your tech is will determine the quality of your mani. Trust me, I have learned the hard way. But for 35$ you can get both a regular manicure and pedicure. 30$ Monday-Wednesday, thats tough to beat. Upon entering write your name on the clip board, pick out a color and take a seat. And one more thing, bring cash for tip! You cannot add tip to the card. They do not sterilize their tools after each use. This should be the primary reason you eliminate this nail salon as an option. Furthermore, the tech will scrub your feet for just 2-3 minutes during the pedicure. I do more in my shower at home! The entire experience is quite rushed.I should mention the techs are rather talented. The finished product was perfection. This was also the cheapest mani/pedi I have ever had...$60. However, the risk of infection is just not worth it. Read Less
