Steak stir fry recipe

This beef stir fry recipe is super easy and requires only a handful of ingredients. We like to keep the peppers a little crunchy to make the stir fry more filling. Make sure to checkthe way the grain of the meat is running. You want to cut the slices across the long lines of the grain for the most tender meat.

How to make steak stir fry

The method for homemade steak stir fry is easy and straightforward. Start with mixing the steak stir fry marinade, then sauté the peppers in a little oil in the pan.Remove the bell peppers and set them aside on a plate. In the same skillet, add the flank steak on one layer and cook on each side to sear the beef and continue to cook until cooked through. Add the bell peppers back to the skillet with steak and add the sauce. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, chopped herbs, and serve the beef stir fry immediately!

Directions

1.To make the pepper steak stir-fry: In a small bowl, whisk the garlic, brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, Sriracha, and cornstarch.

2. In a skillet over medium-high heat add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Add the diced bell peppers and cook 1-2 minutes until tender. Remove the bell peppers and set them aside on a plate.

3. Turn the heat to high and add the flank steak on one layer and cook on each side to sear the beef and reduce heat to medium-high and continue to cook until no longer pink and brown on each side.

4. Add the peppers back to the skillet and add the sauce. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until the sauce starts to thicken. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds. Serve the pepper steak stir-fryover rice, rice noodles, or cauliflower rice. Enjoy! ❤️
